FAQ

Common questions

The tool is tested with 500+ files. Files are processed one by one (batched) so your browser never runs out of memory. Larger files take longer per file, but the tool wont crash.
No. Everything happens inside your browser. Files never leave your device, making this safe even for confidential business data.
Use "Keep as separate sheets" mode - each file becomes its own tab. For Stack mode, files should have similar columns, otherwise data may misalign.
When checked, the first row of each file (after the first one) is skipped - assumed to be a duplicate header row. Uncheck if your files have no headers.
Yes - check the "Add Source File column" option. A new column gets added with each row's original filename for easy tracking.
It preserves values (the computed result of formulas). Heavy formatting like colors and merged cells may be simplified to keep the merge fast and reliable.
